I'm Angharad Boyson, founder of Bright Rebel Coaching. I'm a psychologist, trained in coaching and I bring 17 years Royal Air Force experience to my practice.  In my military life, I did a lot of leading, managing, facilitating, instructing and coaching. I was lucky enough to be able to do a Masters in Occupational Psychology whilst in the RAF which gave me a renewed interest in how to help people be happy and successful at work. When I left the RAF, I realised that my interest was really more about how to help people be happy, contented, excited, inspired.... How can you describe it? Then I started my Post Graduate Certificate in Personal and Business Coaching and a phrase struck me. 'Help you be your best you'. Yes, that was it.

So, who what is coaching?  It starts with listening.  Just listening.  That’s where the magic begins.  When you’re talking to someone who is really listening, allowing you space to think (and time to grow!), this is where your best thinking happens.  Do you ever have an issue that’s tying you up in knots, but as soon as you chat to a friend about it, you’re able to see a way through something that was insurmountable before?  Well, that’s coaching.

Stuart Brown

I have been fortunate enough to be trained in Hypnotherapy, EFT and NLP by some incredible people.

I have recently had the pleasure of helping the Chris Evans Breakfast Show team, specifically Vassos Alexander, to overcome his extreme snake phobia. 

In addition to this I helped Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills to overcome his crippling fear of heights to complete his abseil for Children in Need in 2015.

I began to study through my work with a charity supporting families of the Emergency services. This has progressed to allow me the opportunity to help a great many people in dealing with issues that have had an effect on their life.

Through my experiences working within a high pressure and critical role in one of the emergency services I have seen and dealt with the best and worst of human emotion. 

This experience has given me a unique set of skills which allow me to deal with issues from a different perspective. Nothing you tell me can shock me or prevent me from wanting to help you.

Confidentiality is absolutely paramount with all of my clients.


Karen Colgan

I’m a qualified clinical hypnotherapist, counsellor and nurse. I had been curious for many years about hypnotherapy and so enrolled on a certificate course with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis (LCCH) back in 2010. I immediately became hooked and then went on to train further, completing a post graduate certificate with the LCCH in partnership with the University of West London in 2014. I am fully insured and am a member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis. I have spent much of my career to date supporting adults and young people with complex needs in health care settings. I have recently made the decision to devote more of my time to my hypnosis practice and am excited about offering sessions at Central Wellness.

Hypnosis can help you make positive and lasting change in your life. Hypnosis can be described as a state of focussed concentration, you will not be asleep but in fact may hear all or most of what the therapist is saying. We often experience this state of focused concentration when doing daily activities such as walking, reading a book or driving a familiar route.  During the hypnotic state the therapist will be able to access the subconscious mind and offer helpful and positive suggestions without the constant rational processing of our conscious mind, this allows therapeutic change to take place at the subconscious level.  This is important, as it is this part of our mind that controls all our behaviours outside of our immediate conscious awareness.

I will tailor your session to meet your individual needs and treatment will only commence once a detailed history has been taken. We will agree on goals for therapy before commencing and there may be an expectation on you to complete some homework tasks. Self-hypnosis will be taught so that you can take control of maintaining lasting change.

Jill Fisher Dip RM (MSM)

I’m a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist, fully insured and registered with the  Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT). I trained at the Midlands School of Massage and Manipulative Therapy and have a background of working in healthcare with people experiencing a range of physical disabilities and mental health problems.

Claire Fox

Clarity Therapies is run by Claire Fox, an ex-nurse who took the decision to change career paths and follow an interest in complementary therapies and palliative care.

She qualified as a Complementary Therapist after studying a two-year course at De Montfort University in 1999. Claire has also run her own clinic based within a GP surgery, treating referred patients on site. Since that time she has added to her repertoire of skills, as well as working in both clinical and volunteer roles to further her experience.

More recently she has followed a desire to work within palliative care, looking to specialise in working with cancer and dementia patients using reflexology, aromatherapy and lymphatic drainage to help ease symptoms.

My journey in complementary therapies began in 2010 when I was diagnosed with both fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. During my recovery, I experienced several different types of therapies before realising that I wanted to use these techniques to help others. I take a holistic approach to my treatments, as I strongly believe that the mind, body and spirit are all interconnected. We are all unique individuals, so whichever therapy you choose will be individually tailored to your own needs.

The therapies I currently offer are massage and reiki. Massage can benefit all the physical body systems, especially the musculoskeletal, circulatory, lymphatic, and nervous systems. Physical benefits of massage include relief from pain, inflammation, stiffness and discomfort, an increase in mobility and circulation, and an improved immune system. Mental and psychological benefits of massage include improved quality of sleep, increased energy, improved concentration and reduction in anxiety and fatigue.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.  Reiki is not affiliated with any particular religion or religious practice. It is not massage nor is it based on belief or suggestion. It is a subtle and effective form of energy work using spiritually guided life force energy.
