A Naturopathic Nutrition Workshop

with Kate Knapik and Mark Taylor

Learn about the importance of gut health and how to prepare probiotic foods such as kombucha, sauerkraut and kimchi to help support optimal digestion.

Hosted by Naturopathic Nutritionist Kate Knapik and Chef and founder of Tummy Tonics, Mark Taylor, the workshop will include: an explanation of what is a 'leaky gut', the role and the importance of healthy microbiome (aka beneficial bacteria); how to support optimal digestion; and the role of pre and probiotic foods.

There will also be a practical presentation on how to make gut-friendly foods along with a tasting session.

Kate Knapik is a naturopathic nutritionist and community pharmacist. She is a member of GPhC, BANT, ANP and CNHC. She tries to find a bridge between 'mainstream medicine' and naturopathic approach, looking at body's self healing mechanisms.
