This day of Mindful Relaxation and Stress Reduction, with counsellor and mindfulness teacher Justin Iles, is an opportunity to leave the world of busyness behind and absorb yourself in an atmosphere of peace and calm.
We will ease into the day with some gentle stretches followed by a guided body relaxation and sitting meditation. After lunch we will do some slow walking meditation and then some practices on self-compassion and loving-kindness.
The day will end with an exploration of the various stresses in our lives and learning to change the things we can, and accept the things we can’t. This will be followed by a period of ‘just sitting’ allowing everything we have learnt to settle in before heading back into the world.
