This course aims to assist you in taking better care of yourself and get the most out of living by learning to relax, be kind to yourself and ‘BE’ with difficulty and discomfort. The majority of people completing the programme report lasting physical and psychological benefits including:

MBCT was originally developed to help people ease the pain of depression and anxiety, but over the years it has proved to be effective in helping with many other ailments such as:

Cancer and other long term illnesses (not to cure but to come to a place of acceptance)
It seems that a general reduction in stress relieves the causes of these various symptoms and opens the door to a new way of living that is more peaceful, open and loving.

The course will be led by Mindfulness Teacher Justin Iles. Justin has more than 10 years meditation experience (with approx 10’000 hours on the mat), including more than two years on silent retreat. He is a certified Bangor University Mindfulness teacher, a qualified Integrative Psychotherapist and also has a diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. His knowledge of both Eastern and Western disciplines give this course a unique tone that combines traditional meditation technique with clinical mindfulness tools.
