This workshop is a great introduction to Somatic Movement Education. Experience how this method effectively releases over worked muscles that become tight as a result of training and competing.
Tight muscles limit performance, efficiency, rehab and can cause tension, pain and even injury.
In this workshop you will learn the core principles of Somatic Movement Education:-
releasing chronically tight muscles from the centre to periphery (centre affecting all movement);
the concept of pandiculating muscles to release them;
the three reflex responses and how they become habituated and affect mobility;
what Sensory Motor Amnesia is.
In addition you will learn a simple sequence of movements to help keep your body supple and enhance your training regime.
