Join us for a Winter Solstice celebration of Kundalini Meditation with mantra, Latihan and a Gong Bath.
The winter solstice is the longest night of the year and presents a great potential for transformation.
Using three sacred and ancient techniques we will open the body and mind to nourishment, self-reflection and healing.
We will practice a Kundalini chanting meditation to open the mind before slipping into a Latihan practice and healing gong bath.
Lahitan is movement without thought. We begin by sitting or standing and just feeling the body, not making stories about how it feels, but simply feeling it. You will then be guided to feel the natural movement emerging throughout the body, a movement that arises without thoughts. This technique is deeply relaxing and liberating.
The gong synthesises the entire human energy system, bringing you into complete harmony.
Everyone is welcome at a gong bath but due to the powerful nature of the vibrations it is recommended that gongs are avoided in pregnancy, if you have recently had an operation with metal insertions (plates/screws), have epilepsy, are particularly sensitive to sound (tinnitus/meniere’s) have severe osteoporosis, severe mental illness or have a pacemaker.
