This workshop will focus on yoga techniques specifically for cyclists, but is suitable for all athletes.
Yoga is the perfect complement to sport; cross training your body to build strength and flexibility, helping to avoid injury and improve recovery from training and races. The morning will start with a yoga sequence designed specifically for cyclists. Common ailments will then be addressed individually such as:
- Lower back & neck pain
- Knee problems
- Tight hip flexors
- Hip pain
Throughout the workshop we will focus on breath control, helping with concentration and maximising chest capacity.
The aim of the day is to provide you with tools to take away to help you avoid injury, and improve your cycling performance and enjoyment.
No yoga experience necessary.
